Chilling Rupshu Trek

Korzok Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery belonging to the Drukpa Linege. It is located on the western bank of Tsomoriri Lake and situated at 4595 meter. The monastery was established by a Tibetan Buddhist Lama about 300 years ago. The Korzok Gustor festival held at the monastery every year and attracts many Chang-Pa, the Tibetan plateau nomadic herdsmen.

 

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Days 02: Flight Delhi - Leh

Days 03: Drive Leh – Shey – Thiksey – Hemis – Leh

Day 04: Drive Leh – Alchi – Lamayuru – Ulleytokpo (180 km)

Day 05: Drive Ulleytokpo – Chilling then trek to Skiu (3/4 hrs trek)

Day 06: Trek Skiu – Markha (6/7 hrs)

Day 07: Trek Markha – Langthangchan (5/6 hrs)

Day 08: Trek Lantangchan – Yakrupal (5/6 hrs)

Day 09: Trek Yakrupal – Zanlungkarpo-la (5197m) – Sorra (6/7 hrs)

Day 10: Trek Sorra - Dat (6/7 hrs)

Day 11: Trek Dat – Yakra-la (4830m) - Lungmoche (6/7 hrs)

Day 12: Trek Lungmoche – Jakang (5/6 hrs)

Day 13: Trek Jakang – Tsokar Lake/ Pongunagu (6/7 hrs)

Day 14: Trek Ponganagu - Nuruchen (5 ½ hrs)

Day 15: Trek Nuruchen – Horlamkongka-la (4910m) - Rachungkaru (4 ½ hrs)

Day 16: Trek Rachungkaru – Kyamayuri-la (5430m) – Kartse-la (5380m) – Gyama (6 hrs)

Day 17:Trek Gyama – Yarlung Nyau-la (5440m) – Korzok

Day 18: Drive Korzok – Leh (230 km)

Day 19: Leh

Day 20: Flight Leh – Delhi

Day 21: In Delhi / Departure

Day 22: Arrive in your Home Country.
