During Zanskar Cultural Tour you visit Karsha moanstery, the largest and most important monastery in Zansakr region. Karsha monastery also known by "Karsha Chmspaling" was founded by the translator Phagspa Sherab under the Gelupa Order or Yellow Hat Order. The monastery is under the control of the young brother of HHH Dalai Lama. The most important festival, known as the Karsha Gustor, held with masked Cham dances on the 26th to 29th day of the 11th Tibetan month every year.
