Zanskar Motorbike Tour
During Zanskar Motorbike Toursyou visit Mulbek Monastery (Mulbekh Monastery). It is contsists of two monastery (gompa) one Drukpa and second Gelugpa, in Zanskar region. The double gompa situated at the top of a crag. The altitude of monastery is 3504 meter and the altitude of the mulbek town is 3304 meter. Just a kilometer beyond Mulbek town heading towards Leh, is the famous chamba statue a striking enormous figure carved into the rock face on the right hand side of the road. It pictures a standing Maitreya Buddha or Future Buddha. People believe it dates to the Kushan period in the early century.
